Jane Otmezguine is the author, with Marc Moreau, of the catalogue raisonné Arman Estampes (Éditions Marval, 1990). In recent years she has devoted much of her activity to the work of René Crevel, producing the first monograph on this significant figure in the Art Deco movement. Drawing on a large collection (paintings, drawings, decorative panels, tapestries, carpets, ceramics, set designs, architectural plans) and on her research in archives, museums and collections around the world, she paints a portrait of the artist, places his creation in the context of his time, and provides a detailed analysis of each of his modes of expression, highlighting his sources, his environment, and his innovations.
